Vaginal Discharge
A vaginal discharge is a fluid produced by the glass in the vaginal wall and the cervix that drains from the opening of the vagina. The normal amount of vaginal discharge appearance may vary throughout your menstrual cycle.
Some vaginal discharges are healthy and normal, but some are not. Look carefully at what your vaginal discharge is indicating.
Here are signs of infections or disorders indicating an unusual vaginal discharge:
- The amount of the vaginal discharge increases
- Abnormal odor
- Abnormal consistency of the fluid itself
- Vaginal discharge that includes pain
