Menopause
Menopause is caused at the end of your last menstrual period due to lower hormone levels. You reach menopause if you have not had your period of 12 months.
When can menopause happen?
- Usually between the ages of 45 and 55
- Or can happen when removing the ovaries or
- Removing of the uterus
- Cancer treatment (chemotherapy)
- Genetic reasons
- Anxiety
- Low energy
- Mood swings
- Brain fog
- Hot flashes
- Irregular periods
- Disrupted sleep
