Breast Ultrasound

Breast Ultrasound is a complimentary breast screening to the mammogram. An ultrasound is an imaging test that uses high-frequency sound waves to take pictures of internal organs and tissues. A breast ultrasound provides pictures of the insides of your breasts. This test can give more information about small areas of interest within the breast that may be difficult to see in detail on a mammogram.
